The Concession Supervisor role at Legends Global, located at ONT Field in Ontario, CA, offers a part-time, non-exempt position with a compensation rate of $29.25 an hour. The position requires union membership as it is covered by a collective bargaining agreement with Unite Here Local 11. As the Concession Supervisor, you will play a critical role in assisting the Concessions Manager in overseeing day-of-event operations related to concession outlets and bar areas within ONT Field. Your responsibilities include ensuring that all concession and bar stations are properly set up prior to guest arrival, supervising staff during events, and providing training on department standards and procedures. The role demands strong communication skills to coordinate between kitchen, warehouse, and concessions teams effectively, ensuring smooth and timely delivery of all items and services.

Job Requirements
- Must be minimum 21 years of age
- Bachelor’s degree in food and beverage management or related field desired
- Previous customer service and cash handling experience is a plus
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in supervisory level position in food and beverage or equivalent training experience
- Must be flexible, have a sense of urgency, and respond quickly and resourcefully to issues
- Working knowledge of food production techniques, purchasing, and sanitation procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to define problems, propose and implement solutions
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Valid food handler's card required within 30 days of hire
- TIPS certification
- Ability to provide two-way communication and nurture ownership environment
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, staff, and vendors
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be energetic, detail oriented with strong initiative and customer service focus
- Physical ability to lift at least 25 lbs, push/pull doors, walk long distances
- Must pass background check
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in food and beverage management or related field desired
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in supervisory position in food and beverage or equivalent training

Job Duties
- Ensures all concessions outlets and designated bar areas are properly set before guests arrive
- Oversees concessions and bar staff during events
- Trains concessions and bar staff on department standards and procedures
- Reads and understands par sheets, stand sheets, and requisition orders
- Maintains existing equipment needed for outlet areas and bars
- Orders replacement items and equipment under the direction of the concessions manager
- Ensures all requisitions to the warehouse and kitchen are received timely and according to company policy
- Coordinates with kitchen on timing and production of functions
- Communicates effectively between kitchen and warehouse teams
- Plans and executes floor operations efficiently
- Communicates schedule changes to event manager
- Follows responsible alcohol service policies
- Supervises and coordinates concessions attendants including training and feedback
- Delivers professional and courteous guest service
- Manages catering guest requests and orders
- Resolves problems with associates, guests, and operation with manager support
- Learns menu items to complete financial transactions and upsell
- Ensures timely arrival of food and beverage orders and addresses discrepancies
- Maintains a clean, organized, stocked, and safe area
- Reports low inventory and safety/maintenance issues
- Completes and assists staff with opening and closing duties
- Performs end-of-month inventory for concession and bar areas
