Job Requirements

Prior food service and/or supervisory experience preferred
Must meet age requirements for alcohol handling as per Ohio regulations
Basic knowledge of food and beverage service
Basic math skills
Ability to handle cash accurately
Ability to communicate clearly
Ability to work cooperatively
Ability to work independently
Must be available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

Prior food service and/or supervisory experience preferred
Basic working knowledge of food and beverage service including cooking and food preparation
Basic math skills and ability to handle money accurately
Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively in both written and spoken forms
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships
Ability to work cooperatively with others
Ability to perform work with a high degree of accuracy and organization
Ability to work independently with initiative

Job Duties

Supervises assigned employees through planning, organizing and prioritizing work assignments
Ensures daily evaluation of employee preparation including uniform, appearance, attitude and equipment
Assists in screening, interviewing and selecting individuals for admissions/concessions positions
Schedules cashier employees
Trains personnel in techniques, procedures and policies
Prepares information necessary for personnel records
Recommends discipline when appropriate
Provides coverage of admissions and concessions functions when assigned
Maintains records regarding daily revenue and attendance
Keeps staff informed of discounts and coupons related to admissions or events
Manages concession operations through staff training and food inventory control
Handles cash transactions in compliance with park policies
Enforces safety, conduct and equipment rules
Resolves visitor complaints or escalates to supervisor
Provides excellent customer service to all customers
Prepares, cooks, and serves food promptly and courteously
Operates POS system and accounts for daily sales
Sells and serves alcoholic beverages following state regulations
Maintains compliance with health and safety standards
Keeps serving areas clean, organized and presentable
Completes inventory control and restocking
May work beverage cart, concession trailer or catered events
Performs opening and closing procedures
Assists patrons in safe use of equipment and enforces safety rules
Keeps supervisor informed of issues or concerns
Maintains a safe work environment and responds to hazards
Greets customers and responds to inquiries
Performs related duties as assigned
