Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs or less
  • Ability to perform occasional bending pulling and squatting motions
  • Schedule flexibility to accommodate weekend shifts
  • Schedule flexibility to accommodate opening and closing shifts for Concession Shift Lead
  • Knowledge of basic point-of-sale and cash handling practices
  • Knowledge of food preparation and sanitation requirements
  • Skill in following oral and written instructions
  • Skill in multitasking in a fast-paced environment while providing effective customer service
  • Skill in communicating in person and writing
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive effective working relationships

Job Qualifications

  • Must be of legal age to perform the duties of the positions
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • Any combination of training and experience with concessions or food preparation for Concession Cook
  • Any combination of training and experience equivalent to three months of restaurant concessions management experience or another relevant field for Concession Shift Lead
  • Basic CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
  • Prior experience working at Missoula Park & Recreation facilities preferred

Job Duties

  • Execute daily food preparation tasks including morning prep restocking items setting up and closure of line items and steam tables
  • Comply with the Concession Cook Handbook
  • Operate various kitchen appliances and handheld equipment such as ovens slicers and fryers
  • Perform point-of-sale transactions by accepting payment for all food items while providing in-person customer service
  • Prepare and handle food in accordance with health and safety standards
  • Maintain food temperatures freshness and proper storage
  • Oversee cleanliness and organization of concession areas including outside seating and party areas
  • Greet patrons and complete and deliver accurate food orders in a timely manner
  • Assist with supervising staff and coordinating food preparation
  • Ensure health safety and service standards are consistently met
  • Delegate food preparation tasks to staff members
  • Receive and accurately store food deliveries
  • Collaborate with team members to support new menu items and tournament specials
  • Ensure opening and closing procedures
  • Assign deep cleaning tasks as necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on training and qualifications
