The Concessions Bartender position at ONT Field, under the Food & Beverage department, offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences in a dynamic event environment. This part-time role compensates $21.40 per hour and requires union membership as part of the collective bargaining agreement with Unite Here Local 11. The bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at event-day locations, ensuring each interaction with guests is warm, friendly, and professional. This role is critical in enhancing the overall event experience by providing fast, accurate drink service and maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation.

Bartenders at Legends Global are expected to have a solid knowledge of all bar drinks and wines, maintain valid food handlers and alcoholic beverage server permits, and strictly adhere to the company dress code, which includes wearing black pants and non-slip soled closed-toe shoes. Responsibilities include efficiently mixing drinks, managing POS systems for high-volume service, following cash handling and tip reporting guidelines, and practicing responsible alcohol service. The role also involves significant interaction with guests, requiring excellent communication skills, a professional appearance, and a positive attitude. Bartenders must be adaptable, ready to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and capable of working in a fast-paced arena environment. The position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills and a passion for customer service, ensuring that every guest’s experience is memorable and enjoyable. Safety and sanitation are paramount, with bartenders responsible for proper product control, sanitation standards, and food safety compliance. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Valid food handler's card or ability to obtain within 30 days
  • TIPS certification
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift at least 25 lbs
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to pass background check
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor
  • Must be covered by collective bargaining agreement union membership at ONT Field
  • Must comply with company dress code
  • Must be detail-oriented and self-disciplined

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous bartending experience preferred
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Basic math and cash handling skills
  • Knowledge of food production, purchasing, and sanitation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Positive attitude and professional appearance
  • Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines

Job Duties

  • Mix drinks to order and serve customers
  • Have knowledge of all bar drinks and wines

  • Ensure merchandising and signage are properly displayed
  • Adhere to company dress code and obtain assigned workstation at shift start

  • Stock products and complete station set-up and breakdown
