Their portfolio includes iconic brands such as Chateau Ste. Michelle, 14 Hands, Columbia Crest, Intrinsic, Liquid Light, Northstar, and Spring Valley Vineyard. These wines are enjoyed not only across the U.S. but are also distributed to over 100 countries worldwide, reflecting the company's extensive reach and influence. Ste. Michelle Wine Estates prides itself on an unwavering commitment to quality, customer service, and community connection, which are core values that have remained constant throughout its 90-plus years of operation.
The Concert and Event Coordinator position based in Woodinville, WA is a full-time role focusing primarily on the coordination and execution of VIP trade events, while also providing vital support to Corporate Revenue, Wine Shop, Wine Club, and Off-Site Events. This role demands a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills and exemplary customer service capabilities. The coordinator acts as a key liaison between multiple departments within the company, including Sales, Marketing, Communications, Guest Services, IS, and Executive Administration, ensuring seamless event planning and execution.
This position is primarily onsite with limited remote flexibility, potentially allowing remote work up to one day per week depending on seasonal business needs and event schedules. During peak seasons such as spring and summer, a fully onsite presence is typically required, whereas winter months may offer more remote opportunities. The usual work schedule is Monday through Friday but includes flexibility for weekend and evening work to support events as necessary. Being eligible for tips adds a financial incentive, with compensation commensurate with experience ranging from $21.41 to $27.82 per hour.
Key responsibilities for the Concert and Event Coordinator include maintaining effective communication with internal departments and external vendors to ensure a high level of service and exceptional guest experiences. The role involves managing wine sample orders, scheduling, liaising with third-party vendors and agencies, and coordinating event details such as menus and audio-visual needs. The coordinator also collaborates closely with the creative services and digital teams to oversee print and web projects, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
Physical demands include the ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds and the stamina to stand and walk for extended periods. Applicants must be at least 21 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a bachelor’s degree preferred in Hospitality Management, Communications, or a related field. Possession of a MAST 12 Class Permit and Food Handler's Permit is required along with a minimum of two years’ experience in administrative support within hospitality or similar fast-paced environments.
Ste. Michelle Wine Estates fosters a culture centered on challenging oneself to succeed, caring for people—whether employees, customers, or community members—and embracing collaboration as a cornerstone for success. This culture empowers employees to harvest their potential and uncork new possibilities, positioning the company as not only a leader in the wine industry but also an employer of choice offering a supportive and inclusive work environment.
