The Compressor Technician II role at Crosby Energy Services is a vital position responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting critical compressor systems, VRUs, flares, combustors, and other related equipment. This role involves working independently and as part of a team to support daily field operations and execute projects that enhance equipment reliability and functionality. The technician will support the Compressor Foreman by coordinating activities, managing contractor schedules, and tracking inventory to ensure the smooth operation of production facilities. Effective communication with operations, engineering, vendors, and contractors is a key element of this role, enabling prompt problem resolution and continuous process improvements.
Additionally, the Compressor Technician II will play an important role in monitoring equipment performance, identifying operational issues, and reviewing preventive maintenance activities to reduce downtime and increase efficiency. Working alongside engineering teams, the technician will help standardize compression facilities and ensure that all activities comply with company safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. This position requires a minimum of three years of hands-on experience with compressor systems and VRUs, strong troubleshooting skills, familiarity with SCADA and operational technology systems, as well as the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while lifting up to 50 pounds.

Job Duties
- Maintain and troubleshoot compressors, VRUs, flares, combustors, and associated equipment
- support the Compressor Foreman with daily operations and field projects
- coordinate contractor activities and equipment repair schedules
- monitor equipment performance and identify operational issues
- review preventive maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime
- track equipment inventory and verify delivered materials
- review and approve maintenance invoices
- work with Engineering to standardize compression facilities
- ensure compliance with company safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
- communicate effectively with Operations, Engineering, vendors, and contractors
