Job Description
Marie Veronique is a vibrant and mission-driven organization based in Berkeley, dedicated to being a genuine resource for skin health both locally and beyond. With its rapid growth and maturity in the skincare industry, Marie Veronique is recognized for its commitment to producing safe, effective products that promote optimal skin health and address real skin concerns. The company prides itself on using good manufacturing practices (GMP) to ensure the highest quality in all its formulations, merging science with nature to create skincare that truly works. At the core of Marie Veronique's operations is a passionate team that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement, making it an inspiring and rewarding place to work for professionals dedicated to skin health and wellness.
The role of Compounding Technician at Marie Veronique is a critical and dynamic position within the production team. This role requires a dedicated expert experienced in GMP environments to lead and manage the compounding process efficiently and accurately. The technician ensures that production schedules are met while adhering strictly to company standards and procedures, guaranteeing the quality and consistency of every batch produced. The position also entails acting as a trainer to other staff, imparting knowledge and best practices to maintain high standards across the board. This role is ideal for someone who is meticulous, organized, and passionate about producing skincare products that make a genuine difference.
As a Compounding Technician, the successful candidate will coordinate with supervisors to ensure all materials, supplies, and equipment are adequately stocked and prepared for production. They will be responsible for preparing recipes according to GMP guidelines, managing the receipt and documentation of raw materials in the ERP system, and ensuring accurate batch records are maintained. Workers in this role must maintain strict attention to detail, verifying product quality from weight and volume to appearance and consistency. Responsibilities extend to managing proper storage of products to prevent contamination and degradation and collaborating with Quality Control for pH and microbial testing. The technician will also uphold strict cleanliness and hygiene standards, oversee equipment sanitation, and participate actively in production meetings and inventory counts. Flexibility to cross-train in other production-related functions such as filling, labeling, and shipping is also expected.
Marie Veronique offers a supportive team environment and competitive benefits for qualified individuals. The work environment is usually moderate in noise, involving office and production room settings. Employees typically spend significant time multitasking, managing changing priorities, and juggling multiple duties that require attention to detail and quick thinking. Physically, the job demands standing for long periods, lifting moderately heavy objects, and performing tasks that require manual dexterity and vision acuity.
Joining Marie Veronique means becoming part of a mission-focused company that is dedicated to creating meaningful skincare solutions. This is an opportunity for a GMP-experienced compounding professional to contribute to a growing company with strong values, teamwork culture, and dedication to quality and customer satisfaction.
