Job Description
kdc/one is a leading company in the beauty and personal care industry, renowned for blending high-quality ingredients to create innovative products used by top brands around the world. As a dedicated compounding and mixing facility located in Groveport, kdc/one takes pride in its commitment to quality, safety, and innovation. The company emphasizes teamwork, precision, and compliance with industry standards to ensure that every product they manufacture meets or exceeds customer expectations. At kdc/one, employees are empowered to contribute to the magic behind personal care products that millions of people rely on daily. The workplace culture encourages continuous improvement, safety, and respect, fostering a sense of pride in the work being done and the products being made.
The company is currently hiring for the full-time position of Compounder (Mixing & Batching), offering a competitive starting pay of $20 to $25 per hour. This role is a critical part of the production process, responsible for the precise measurement, blending, and processing of bulk products that will eventually become finished beauty and personal care items. The position operates on a 2-2-3 schedule with shifts running from 6am to 6pm or 6pm to 6am, providing flexibility for employees to select a shift that best fits their lifestyle.
In this role, the Compounder will be responsible for staging and measuring raw materials, operating batching equipment to exact formulas, performing quality checks, and maintaining clean and sanitized equipment in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety regulations. Communication is key as the Compounder will document batch details within SAP inventory systems and collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment calibration and optimal functioning. Working in a fast-paced, wet, and chemical-friendly industrial environment, the ideal candidate must adhere strictly to safety protocols including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who are detail-oriented, enjoy teamwork, and want to be directly involved in the manufacturing processes behind everyday beauty and personal care products. With kdc/one’s strong focus on employee safety, growth, and operational excellence, candidates will find a supportive atmosphere that values skill development and offers a stable, rewarding career path within the manufacturing sector. If you have experience in compounding or batching, strong math and reading skills, and a passion for creating high-quality products, kdc/one invites you to apply and be part of a company where better starts here.
