This position requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to quality as you bond various materials, including composites, metal, and laminates, to produce critical aircraft assemblies and components. The role involves interpreting blueprints, operating specialized equipment such as autoclaves, hydraulic presses, and ovens, and meticulously monitoring product quality throughout the bonding process. This position demands physical stamina and the ability to work in confined spaces, requiring bending, stooping, kneeling, standing, walking, and lifting up to 35 pounds. The Aircraft Composite Bonder Technician will have the opportunity to contribute continuous improvement ideas in production methods and team effectiveness. The role may require traveling approximately 10% of the time and demands obtaining and maintaining a Government Secret clearance. Salaries range from $51,400 to $85,600 for Level 2 and $61,100 to $101,800 for Level 3, with potential for overtime, shift differentials, and discretionary bonuses.
