Legends Global is a leading company specializing in providing exceptional venues and event experiences in the hospitality and entertainment industry. Known for managing high-profile locations such as Van Andel Arena, Acrisure Amphitheater, and Amway Stadium in Grand Rapids, Legends Global has built a reputation for excellence in venue operations, customer service, and ensuring an engaging environment for guests and staff alike. With a focus on delivering outstanding food and beverage services within these premier locations, the company continuously seeks to uphold the highest standards in operational efficiency and regulatory compliance. Legends Global operates in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where event-day execution is crucial to overall success, making every role within the organization vital to maintaining seamless operations and superior guest experiences.

The Compliance and Operations Coordinator role within the Food & Beverage department is an essential part of the event-day team, reporting directly to the Concessions Manager. This non-exempt position plays a critical role in supporting smooth workforce coordination and upholding strict compliance regulations related to alcohol service and sales. The incumbent is responsible for overseeing employee check-in and check-out procedures, managing attendance and accurate documentation of hours worked, and monitoring compliance adherence throughout events. Additionally, this role assists with post-event financial reconciliation, ensuring accurate cash handling and till balancing that is essential for operational integrity.

This position is ideal for professionals with a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and an ability to thrive in high-volume, fast-paced settings such as large sporting events and concerts. The Compliance and Operations Coordinator will serve as an Alcohol Compliance Officer during events, reinforcing training standards and ensuring that all policies meet local and state regulations. This role also includes functional oversight by guiding the workflow during events, supporting both employees and nonprofit group volunteers while promoting compliance and operational excellence.

Beyond the event execution aspects, the Compliance and Operations Coordinator is involved in providing real-time support to staff during onboarding and throughout events to guarantee an organized, positive workforce experience. This position demands flexibility in availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the nature of the entertainment and event industry. Additionally, physical stamina is necessary as the role requires standing and walking for extended periods in crowded and loud environments, sometimes involving light physical activities such as lifting up to 25 pounds.

Legends Global encourages a diverse workforce and strives to create an inclusive workplace. Candidates who are committed to fostering a safe, compliant, and engaging environment while contributing to the smooth operation of large-scale events will find this role rewarding. This opportunity offers an excellent pathway for individuals interested in advancing their careers in event operations, compliance, and food and beverage services within a renowned company dedicated to quality and innovation.
