The role offered is a pivotal leadership position within Hilton’s hotel management team, focusing on financial management and operational excellence across multiple hotel departments. This leadership role involves direct communication with hotel ownership to report results and align strategic development plans to ensure the hotel’s long-term success. In addition, the position requires oversight of the hotel’s budget preparation and forecasting, as well as reviewing performance metrics such as balanced scorecards to guide decision-making. The candidate will supervise seven department directors and be expected to travel 5% domestically between hotel sites, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to the hotel's operational needs. The location for this role is at 2050 Gateway Plaza, San Jose, CA 95110, with opportunities for periodic telecommuting after six months of favorable employment.

Job Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent in business administration, hospitality management, global business leadership, or a related field
- Three years of experience in hotel management or a related position
- Experience managing hotel operations to ensure continued profitability and revenue maximization
- Ability to utilize complex fiscal hospitality management principles
- Experience monitoring department heads and team member activity for growth
- Proficient in performing critical analysis and managing extensive information
- Skilled in managing multiple projects and establishing priorities
- Effective communication with department heads and developing direct reports
- Willingness to travel domestically between two hotel sites
- Ability to supervise seven department directors
- Located in or willing to work from 2050 Gateway Plaza, San Jose, CA
- Eligible for periodic telecommuting after six months of employment
Job Qualifications
- Master's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Global Business Leadership, or related field

Job Duties
- Apply specialized financial knowledge to review and analyze hotel department budgets
- Define and direct changes to budgets as required
- Collaborate in creating, directing, and executing sales and marketing, revenue optimization, and distribution strategies
- Hire, supervise, coach, discipline, and conduct performance evaluations for department heads and key personnel
- Communicate with ownership regarding results and align strategic plans
- Facilitate preparation of the hotel's budgets and forecasts
- Review financial forecasts and balanced scorecards
- Direct actions to maximize profitability, increase service levels, and improve team member satisfaction
