Job Description

Hilton is a renowned global leader in the hospitality industry, known for its commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences and fostering a workplace culture that inspires and nurtures its team members. Headquartered in the United States, Hilton operates a vast portfolio of hotels and resorts across the world, making it one of the most recognizable and respected names in hospitality. The company’s mission revolves around filling the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality, ensuring that every guest enjoys a memorable stay while team members thrive in a supportive and dynamic work environment. Hilton’s dedication to workplace excellence has earned it repeated recognition on the World’s Best Workplaces list by Great Place to Work and Fortune, reflecting its commitment to both guests and employees alike.

The role of Executive Steward at Hilton is pivotal in maintaining the highest sanitation, safety, and operational standards across the property’s stewarding operations. As an Executive Steward, you will provide strategic oversight and hands-on management to ensure the seamless operation of all stewarding activities, including inventory control, equipment maintenance, cost optimization, and regulatory compliance. This leadership position requires a passion for hospitality and the ability to inspire a diverse team to deliver excellence in every detail.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the coordination, distribution, storage, and maintenance of all essential stewarding items such as china, glassware, linen, and silver. Ensuring the accuracy and availability of these items directly supports the smooth functioning of the food and beverage services. You will also have a critical role in maintaining the security and optimal functionality of all food service equipment, ensuring that operational standards are not compromised.

Sanitation and hygiene are paramount, and as Executive Steward, you will develop, implement, and enforce rigorous sanitation standards to comply with health and safety regulations. Your leadership will ensure guest and team member wellbeing by upholding these standards consistently. Additionally, you will monitor expenses closely and implement cost-saving strategies that balance operational efficiency and quality.

A key component of your role involves team leadership: supervising, coaching, and mentoring the stewarding team to foster a high-performing, engaged workforce. Through performance evaluations and professional development opportunities, you will nurture talent and recognize achievements, building a strong, cohesive team that embodies Hilton’s core hospitality values.

Hilton offers substantial support and benefits to team members, including exceptional travel perks, employee stock purchase programs, paid parental leave, personalized caregiving support, mental health resources, generous paid time off, and comprehensive health and welfare plans. These benefits reflect Hilton’s commitment to the wellbeing and growth of its employees.

Joining Hilton means not only contributing to an award-winning company known for its hospitality excellence but also building a rewarding career within a global brand that values integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and urgency. If you desire to be part of a workplace culture that makes a difference every day, Hilton’s Executive Steward position is an unmatched opportunity to shine within the dynamic hospitality industry.
