Job Requirements

  • 2 - 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or as a meeting planner
  • Proficient in Windows, spreadsheets and word processing
  • Knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques
  • Familiarity with health department rules and Nevada liquor laws
  • Experience with Marriott Consolidated Inventory System CI is a plus
  • Flexible to work long hours, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to perform light physical work involving lifting up to 20 pounds occasionally

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Coordinate and supervise group business throughout event lifecycle
  • Achieve banquet and catering budgets
  • Market ideas to promote business and reduce employee turnover
  • Maintain revenue and payroll budgets
  • Liaise between clients and operating departments
  • Manage event logistics including pricing, menus, and rooming lists
  • Respond promptly to guest complaints and client requests
