Job Requirements
- 2 - 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or as a meeting planner
- Proficient in Windows, spreadsheets and word processing
- Knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques
- Familiarity with health department rules and Nevada liquor laws
- Experience with Marriott Consolidated Inventory System CI is a plus
- Flexible to work long hours, weekends and holidays
- Ability to perform light physical work involving lifting up to 20 pounds occasionally
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Coordinate and supervise group business throughout event lifecycle
- Achieve banquet and catering budgets
- Market ideas to promote business and reduce employee turnover
- Maintain revenue and payroll budgets
- Liaise between clients and operating departments
- Manage event logistics including pricing, menus, and rooming lists
- Respond promptly to guest complaints and client requests
