Job Description

Homewood Suites and Springhill Suites in Carle Place, NY (Long Island Area) are well-established hospitality brands known for their commitment to providing exceptional accommodations and excellent customer experiences. These properties belong to Marriott and Hilton, two of the most respected names in the hospitality industry. Both brands focus on delivering a combination of comfort, convenience, and value to their guests, catering to business travelers, families, and leisure guests alike. Homewood Suites offers all-suite accommodations with extended-stay amenities, while Springhill Suites provides spacious suites designed for both work and relaxation. Their locations in the vibrant Long Island market allow them to serve a broad clientele, from corporate clients and government accounts to small meetings, SMERF groups (social, military, educational, religious, and fraternal), and leisure travelers.

The Complex Director of Sales role is an exciting leadership position that involves overseeing the sales and revenue-generating efforts for both Homewood Suites and Springhill Suites in Carle Place. This role is pivotal in driving the overall business growth and profitability of these two hotels by developing and implementing sales strategies that increase market share and maximize revenue. In this capacity, the Complex Director of Sales works closely with property leadership teams, regional partners, and brand resources from Marriott and Hilton to align sales initiatives with brand standards and revenue management goals.

This position offers an opportunity to lead comprehensive sales efforts that encompass identifying new business opportunities, networking within the community and industry, negotiating contracts, and maintaining strong client relationships across various market segments including corporate, group, government, SMERF, and leisure sectors. The role demands a dynamic sales leader who excels in strategic planning, team leadership, and business development. With responsibilities including preparing sales plans, managing budgets and forecasts, conducting client presentations and site tours, and tracking sales performance metrics, the Complex Director of Sales must be highly organized and detail-oriented.

In addition to revenue growth duties, the director mentors and supports the sales team, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance. Local travel within the Long Island and New York metro markets is essential to maintain strong client relationships and to represent the hotels at industry events, trade shows, and community functions. Candidates will benefit from prior experience with Marriott and/or Hilton branded properties and should demonstrate a passion for hospitality, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to develop strategic business plans.

Joining the team means embracing a collaborative and impactful leadership role within two prestigious hotel brands. The successful candidate will enjoy career advancement opportunities, the satisfaction of driving measurable business outcomes, and the chance to make a tangible impact in a thriving market. If you are an energetic, strategic sales professional eager to lead with purpose and to contribute to the success of two highly regarded hotels, this role in Carle Place is the perfect fit.
