The Complex Business Travel Sales Manager role at Hilton Hotels represents a unique opportunity to be part of this celebrated hospitality legacy. This role focuses on driving revenue growth through corporate and consortia travel partnerships, enhancing Hilton’s foothold in the Bay Area market. As a Complex Business Travel Sales Manager, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing strategic sales plans aligned with annual revenue goals, market dynamics, and evolving customer needs. Your responsibilities will include identifying and converting business travel opportunities within corporate and local segments while building and managing negotiated rate programs. You will also cultivate luxurious consortia partnerships with esteemed organizations such as AMEX FHR, Virtuoso, and Signature, enhancing Hilton’s market share and brand perception.

Client engagement and account management are pivotal to this role. The Complex Business Travel Sales Manager will provide personalized, high-touch service to key accounts and corporate travel planners through various communication channels, frequently assessing performance and refining strategies to promote retention and growth. Further, the role focuses on growing Hilton’s presence in key local markets, particularly within vertical markets like legal and healthcare, and leveraging specialized marketing initiatives to maximize the hotel’s visibility. Job Requirements

  • 2 to 3 years of experience as a Senior Sales Manager or Business Travel Sales Manager
  • Knowledge of the Bay Area market
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Proven track record in developing and executing sales strategies
  • Capacity to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Willingness to travel locally within the market area

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, marketing, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience as a Senior Sales Manager or Business Travel Sales Manager
  • Proven knowledge of the Bay Area market
  • Strong skills in strategic sales planning and execution
  • Ability to build and sustain high-level client relationships
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience in managing negotiated rate programs and consortia partnerships

Job Duties

  • Develop, implement, and monitor annual sales and marketing plans aligned to revenue goals and market shifts
  • Identify, pursue, and convert new business travel opportunities across corporate and local segments
  • Lead strategy and execution for Corporate and Local Negotiated Rates, leveraging data and market trends
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with luxury consortia such as AMEX FHR, Virtuoso, Signature, and Impresario
  • Provide high-touch account management and client engagement through email, phone, and meetings
  • Cultivate key local market relationships focusing on legal and healthcare verticals and partner with group sales
  • Direct the hotel’s positioning across consortia platforms and marketing programs to drive agent engagement and strengthen brand perception
