Ole is currently seeking a reliable and dedicated Route Sales Driver to join their team. This position plays a critical role in the supply chain, ensuring the timely and safe transportation of products to grocery stores, including both chain and independent stores. The role requires the driver to deliver tortillas and related merchandise according to a scheduled route, maintaining a travel log to record hours worked, travel time, and locations visited. The driver must also perform routine inspections on the company vehicle to guarantee safety and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience with handheld devices and printers used for creating invoices and credits, possess knowledge of Direct Store Delivery (DSD) processes, and have the physical ability to load and unload products from the warehouse and delivery vehicles.

As a Route Sales Driver at Ole, the individual will not only be responsible for the safe and punctual delivery of products but also for merchandising at the delivery locations, ensuring that the company's products are well represented and attractively displayed to maximize visibility and sales potential. This role requires adaptability, as the driver may need to adjust routes to avoid traffic delays or road construction. Effective communication skills are essential for reporting any issues, including vehicle tickets, damages, or incidents, to management in a timely manner. Punctuality and reliability are key traits the company looks for in this role, alongside a sound knowledge of road safety regulations and local routes. While a high school diploma or GED is preferred, the company stresses the importance of being at least 23 years old, holding a valid driver’s license, and maintaining a clean driving record. Additionally, bilingual skills in English and Spanish are considered an advantage, supporting effective communication with diverse customers and colleagues.
