Job Description

Ole is a distinguished company dedicated to producing the finest authentic Mexican-inspired products with an unwavering commitment to quality and freshness. As a company rooted in tradition and excellence, Ole prides itself on delivering products that bring families together around the dinner table, creating wholesome, fun, and genuine eating experiences. Ole’s product lineup includes high-quality tortillas and related items that embody authentic flavors, designed to satisfy the tastes of those seeking true Mexican culinary delight. The company thrives on its mission of quality, freshness, and authenticity, placing a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and continuing to grow its market presence in grocery stores across the region.

The role of Route Sales Driver at Ole is critical in supporting the company’s distribution and customer engagement strategy. This position is not only about transporting goods but also about representing the company’s values at every delivery point. The primary responsibility of the Route Sales Driver is to ensure the timely, safe, and organized delivery and pickup of tortillas and materials to grocery stores, which include both chain and independent grocers. The role requires a dependable individual who can follow a specified route schedule while maintaining detailed travel logs that include work hours, travel time, and locations visited.

In addition to driving, the Route Sales Driver will perform routine checks on the delivery vehicle, including daily vehicle inspections, to ensure safety and proper operation. The successful candidate should be skilled in using handheld devices and printers for generating invoices and credit documents, marking an essential part of the delivery process. Knowledge of Direct Store Delivery (DSD) operations is necessary to handle inventory replenishments directly at store locations, allowing for immediate merchandising and product presentation.

Moreover, the Route Sales Driver should be flexible and proactive, capable of adjusting travel routes to mitigate delays caused by traffic congestion or road construction. Maintaining the cleanliness and mechanical upkeep of the company vehicle is a continuous duty, alongside ensuring that parking is always lawful to avoid fines or towing. The incumbent must exhibit excellent communication skills to promptly report incidents such as accidents, vehicle damages, or citations to management and maintain accurate time records reflecting the vehicle’s movements during work hours.

The position of Route Sales Driver with Ole is an excellent opportunity for those who value punctuality, responsibility, and have a passion for delivering exceptional products to customers. This role demands a professional who is at least 23 years old, holds a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and possesses sound knowledge of road safety and local routes. Being bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus, reflecting the company’s diverse customer base and cultural heritage. This is a full-time, on-site position and is not remote or hybrid. A high school diploma or GED is preferred but not strictly required.

By joining Ole as a Route Sales Driver, you become part of a dedicated team focused on quality and customer satisfaction, contributing significantly to the brand’s reputation and success in the competitive food industry. If you are reliable, motivated, and eager to play a key role in transporting high-quality authentic Mexican products, this job offers a rewarding career path with opportunities for growth and development.
