Ole is currently seeking a reliable Route Sales Driver to join their team and help with transport-related duties essential to their operations. This role focuses primarily on the delivery and pick-up of products, specifically tortillas, to various grocery stores according to a predetermined route schedule. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining timely delivery, high safety standards, and excellent customer service, all while supporting the company’s mission in providing fresh, authentic Mexican products to consumers.

The Route Sales Driver is responsible for ensuring all transportation duties are carried out efficiently and effectively. This includes managing product drops, picking up returns or materials, and keeping detailed travel logs documenting working hours, travel times, and locations visited. Additionally, the role requires performing daily vehicle inspections to maintain vehicle safety and reliability. This comprehensive oversight is designed to ensure all deliveries are made on schedule and in excellent condition, enhancing the customer’s experience and supporting the brand’s reputation.

The role demands proficiency with handheld devices and printers to generate invoices and credits during deliveries. Furthermore, the driver must have experience with Direct Store Delivery (DSD) systems, serving both grocery chains and independent stores. This includes merchandising responsibilities such as setting up displays and ensuring products are presented attractively in-store. Loading and unloading products safely from the warehouse to the delivery vehicle and from the vehicle to store accounts is also fundamental to the position.

Working as a Route Sales Driver at Ole involves adaptability, particularly in route adjustments to bypass traffic congestion or road construction, ensuring timely and efficient delivery service. Maintaining the cleanliness and maintenance of the company vehicle is vital, including regular washing and comprehensive checks to avoid downtime or mechanical issues. The driver is expected to handle any incidents, including reporting tickets, accidents, or damages promptly to the management. This role requires a candidate who is punctual, reliable, and demonstrates effective communication skills, which collectively contribute to smooth logistics and customer satisfaction.

This is a full-time, on-site position requiring a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Candidates must be 23 years of age or older and preferably hold a high school diploma or GED. Bilingual ability in English and Spanish is considered a significant advantage, enhancing communication with diverse customers and colleagues. This position is not remote or hybrid and involves direct interaction with customers and the company’s operational teams.
