Ole is currently seeking a reliable Route Sales Driver to join their team and contribute to the company's logistical operations. This role is essential in ensuring that Ole's authentic tortillas and related products are delivered timely and safely to grocery stores, both chain and independent. The Route Sales Driver is responsible for transporting products based on a scheduled route, maintaining precise travel logs, and conducting routine vehicle inspections to uphold safety and efficiency. This position requires a candidate who is not only dependable and punctual but also capable of managing route details and vehicle schedules meticulously. The role is not a remote or hybrid position, emphasizing the need for an individual who can commit fully to the responsibilities of in-person daily driving and deliveries.

The Route Sales Driver plays a crucial role in Ole's supply chain by ensuring that products reach their destination in excellent condition and on schedule. Duties include loading and unloading products, managing delivery routes with an awareness of traffic and road conditions, and maintaining communication with company management about vehicle status and any incidents that may occur. The driver also assists in merchandising, which helps in promoting the brand’s visibility and appeal at the retail locations. A successful candidate will be familiar with direct store delivery (DSD) processes to grocery stores and have hands-on experience with handheld devices and printers used for creating invoices and credits, which are integral to the role.

This position demands a candidate with a good driving record, valid license, and sound knowledge of road safety regulations. The ability to navigate local routes effectively using maps and GPS systems is essential. Bilingual English-Spanish skills are considered a plus, aiding in better communication with diverse customer and team groups.
