Job Description

Ole is a dedicated company specializing in producing the finest authentic Mexican-inspired products, with a steadfast commitment to quality and freshness. Their mission revolves around creating wholesome, fun, and authentic eating experiences that families can enjoy together. Ole takes pride in earning a seat at your dinner table, which they regard as the highest compliment for their brand. This company is passionate about celebrating Mexican culture through their products and strives to maintain the integrity and freshness that have become synonymous with their name.

At Ole, the focus on quality extends beyond the products themselves to include every aspect of their operations, ensuring that customers receive the best possible experience. With a reputation built on authenticity and freshness, Ole continuously works to enhance their offerings and expand their reach within the grocery and retail sectors. As an established player in the food manufacturing and distribution industry, Ole values reliability, safety, and efficiency in all their processes.

The Company Route Driver role at Ole is a crucial position responsible for the timely and safe delivery of their iconic tortillas and other products to grocery stores both in chains and independent outlets. The driver will manage route schedules efficiently while maintaining a travel log that records work hours, travel time, and locations visited. This role entails not only driving but also loading and unloading products and merchandising within stores, contributing directly to the company’s overall customer satisfaction and operational success.

Applicants for this position should expect a hands-on role that involves performing routine vehicle inspections and maintaining a clean and operational company vehicle. The driver will need to adapt to various route changes to avoid congestion and delays, ensuring the punctual arrival of products. Effective communication and a high level of professionalism are essential, as the driver serves as a representative of Ole to their retail partners and customers. While the position is not remote or hybrid, it offers the chance to be at the forefront of the company’s product distribution and customer interaction.

Experience with handheld devices and printers to create invoices and credits is essential, alongside a thorough knowledge of Direct Store Delivery (DSD) methods tailored to Mexican food products. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with logistical aspects such as loading from the warehouse and unloading at delivery points and skilled in merchandising to assist in promoting the brand in stores. Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish are considered a plus, facilitating smoother communication within diverse communities and customer bases.

In summary, Ole’s Company Route Driver role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a passionate and quality-driven company that takes pride in delivering authentic Mexican products. This role demands responsibility, care, and a commitment to operational excellence to maintain Ole’s standing as a beloved household name in the food industry.
