Job Description

Ole is a renowned company specializing in the production of the finest Authentic Mexican inspired products. With an unwavering commitment to quality and freshness, Ole has built a reputation for delivering products that bring the vibrant flavors of Mexican cuisine directly to your dining table. The company prides itself on its mission to help families create wholesome, fun, and authentic eating experiences. Ole believes that earning a seat at your dinner table is the highest compliment and strives to uphold that trust through consistent excellence in their offerings. As a company dedicated to authenticity and quality, Ole sources and crafts its products with the utmost care, ensuring that every item maintains the cultural integrity and rich taste that customers expect. Operating within the food production and distribution sector, Ole's influence extends across grocery stores, delivering fresh tortillas and other related products that consumers love and trust.

The role of Company Route Driver at Ole is a vital position that supports the company’s logistics and distribution operations. This is a hands-on job requiring a reliable and dedicated individual to assist with all transportation-related duties. The primary responsibility is to drop off and pick up Ole's products, mainly tortillas, at various grocery store locations following a designated route schedule. Accuracy and attention to detail in navigating routes, managing delivery times, and maintaining thorough travel logs are critical for success in this role. The Company Route Driver is responsible for ensuring all addresses and transportation details are correct before starting any pick-up or drop-off task. Additionally, this position includes routine checks on the company vehicle, such as daily inspections to ensure safety and proper functioning, which is essential to maintain a smooth delivery process and avoid any delays or issues on the road.

Responsibilities also extend to assisting with loading and unloading products both at the warehouse and delivery sites, as well as merchandising to uphold the brand’s presence in stores. An understanding of direct store delivery (DSD) practices is important since the driver will interact with both grocery store chains and independent stores. The physical aspects of the role require some level of labor, including handling product displays and ensuring the correct placement of merchandise in stores. The ideal candidate for this role is punctual, reliable, and possesses solid communication skills. Experience with handheld devices and printers for creating invoices and credits is beneficial, as these tools are part of the daily workflow. Practical knowledge of local roads, GPS systems, and route planning, combined with a clean driving record and sound understanding of road safety regulations, will guarantee high performance and reliability. Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are considered a significant plus given the company's customer base and operational areas.

It is important to note that this is not a remote or hybrid position; the Company Route Driver will be actively engaged in fieldwork, requiring a hands-on approach to transportation and delivery duties. Working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, the driver will play a key role in helping Ole maintain its promise of quality and freshness by ensuring that the products arrive at destinations on time and in excellent condition. This opportunity offers candidates a chance to join a company that values dedication, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, and one that supports the cultural heritage behind its products through every delivery made.
