The role of Company Route Driver at Ole is a vital position that supports the company’s mission by ensuring the timely and safe delivery of products to grocery stores and other locations. This is a hands-on driving role that involves transporting tortillas and related materials like cardboard displays to pre-assigned delivery points following a specific route schedule. The position requires a reliable individual who can maintain accurate records such as travel logs detailing travel times, routes, and locations, as well as handling vehicle checks and routine vehicle maintenance to guarantee operational efficiency and safety.

This non-remote, full-time position demands punctuality, reliability, and professionalism. The driver is responsible for the loading and unloading of products from warehouses to the delivery points, maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the delivery vehicle, and ensuring compliance with road safety standards. The driver also needs to demonstrate effective communication skills and be proactive in reporting any incidents, vehicle issues, or traffic violations incurred during work hours. Additionally, the ability to adjust routes promptly to avoid delays due to traffic or roadworks is critical for maintaining the schedule.

Candidates with handheld and printer experience to manage invoices and credits, knowledge of Direct Store Delivery (DSD) to chains and independent grocery stores, and merchandising skills are highly valued. Bilingual English-Spanish abilities are considered a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clients and customers.
