Job Description

Riverside Transport is a reputable and driver-focused transportation company committed to providing excellent career opportunities for CDL-A truck drivers. As a company that values its drivers as part of a family, Riverside Transport emphasizes consistency, communication, and respect to build long-term relationships with its workforce. With a strong driver-first culture, the company offers flexible career options backed by dependable freight, ensuring that drivers receive steady pay and reliable home time. Riverside Transport stands out in the trucking industry by focusing on the well-being and satisfaction of its drivers, which creates a supportive work environment designed to last in this competitive field.

This CDL-A Truck Driver position with Riverside Transport offers a comprehensive and rewarding career path. Drivers can earn up to $88,400 annually, with a pay per mile (CPM) rate up to $0.66 based on experience and performance. There is a clear pay structure that includes scheduled raises and per diem opportunities to boost overall take-home pay. Drivers benefit from a predictable two-week work rhythm that balances strong miles on the road with real time off to spend at home. The freight is 100% no-touch dry van hauling, meaning drivers are not required to load or unload their cargo, which adds ease and convenience to their work. The role is further supported by a $1,500 sign-on bonus and $500 paid orientation to help drivers get started comfortably.

Riverside Transport is committed to providing a full benefits package that supports the health and well-being of its drivers and their families. The benefits include health, vision, and dental insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan with a company match, paid time off, holiday pay, and options for health savings accounts as well as short-term and long-term disability coverage. Drivers also enjoy modern, well-maintained equipment averaging less than 18 months old, which prioritizes safety and comfort on the road. The company fosters a respectful work culture by allowing drivers the freedom to operate without inward-facing cameras, promoting trust and autonomy.

Additional perks include an uncapped referral bonus program where drivers can earn up to $4,500 per referral. Riverside Transport maintains high levels of contracted freight with award-winning shippers, ensuring consistent work availability. They also pay drivers for both empty and loaded miles while on duty, which maximizes earning potential. Communication efficiency is enhanced by keeping fewer drivers per dispatcher, ensuring drivers receive personalized and attentive support.

This role requires candidates to hold a valid Class A CDL, be at least 22 years old, and have recent over-the-road (OTR) driving experience—one year for company drivers and six months for lease drivers. Applicants must also have a clean substance abuse history with no programs within the last 10 years. Riverside Transport accepts applications on an ongoing basis with no application deadlines, inviting qualified drivers to join their team and benefit from their supportive and professional driving environment.
