Job Description
Riverside Transport is a leading transportation company dedicated to providing top-tier freight solutions while fostering a driver-centric culture. Known for valuing its drivers as essential members of the company family, Riverside Transport prioritizes consistency, communication, and respect. The company focuses on building long-term, stable relationships with professional drivers who seek steady pay, reliable home time, and a supportive work environment. Riverside Transport operates within the trucking and logistics industry, specializing in no-touch dry van freight, creating an optimal work-life balance for its CDL-A truck drivers.
Located at the forefront of the transportation sector, Riverside Transport offers flexible career paths tailored to accommodate the diverse needs of drivers. The company has set itself apart by delivering dependable freight paired with a driver-first ethos born from years of experience. It stands as a reputable employer offering competitive salaries and benefits, including a sign-on bonus and orientation pay, designed to attract and retain skilled bus drivers.
The CDL-A Company Truck Driver position at Riverside Transport promises robust earning potential and thoughtfully structured compensation plans. Drivers have the chance to earn up to $93,600 annually with a competitive cent-per-mile (CPM) rate reaching $0.70 based on experience and performance. This role provides drivers with additional earning opportunities such as scheduled pay raises, per diem allowances increasing take-home pay, and a $1,500 sign-on bonus with a $500 paid orientation. These incentives reflect Riverside Transports commitment to rewarding its drivers financially from day one.
Beyond income, this position offers unparalleled work schedule predictability with weekly home time ensured through a 34-hour reset. This steady rhythm is designed to support a healthy balance between high-mileage work and meaningful personal time at home. The job involves hauling 100% no-touch dry van freight, which simplifies operations and reduces physical strain by eliminating load handling. Alongside this, Riverside Transport offers perks like 60% drop and hook freight and $20 stop pay (except for the first and last delivery), ensuring drivers are compensated fairly for their time on the road.
Riverside Transport is committed to its drivers' welfare through a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, vision, and dental insurance, a 401-K plan with company matching contributions, paid time off (PTO), holiday pay, health savings account (HSA) options, and disability insurance covering both short-term and long-term disability. The fleet comprises modern equipment, averaging less than 18 months old, ensuring optimal safety and comfort. Drivers operate without inward-facing cameras, emphasizing mutual respect and trust between the company and its professional drivers.
Additionally, drivers benefit from an uncapped referral program with bonuses up to $4,500 per referral, demonstrating Riverside Transport’s commitment to rewarding loyalty and supporting driver networks. With high levels of contracted freight from award-winning shippers and lower driver-to-dispatcher ratios, drivers experience better communication and operational support, reinforcing the company’s driver-first approach.
This CDL-A truck driver role with Riverside Transport is ideal for professional drivers ready to work with a company that prioritizes fair compensation, consistent freight, modern equipment, and a respectful, supportive work environment. The company welcomes applications on an ongoing basis, ensuring that prospective drivers have the opportunity to join a trusted leader in the trucking industry. Pay rates, bonuses, and incentives may vary based on job type, experience, location, and company discretion. Prospective drivers are encouraged to talk with recruiters to confirm specific details and to explore how Riverside Transport can fit their professional and personal aspirations.
