Job Description
Riverside Transport is a reputable transportation company specializing in dry van freight solutions across the United States. Known for its driver-first culture, Riverside Transport places emphasis on consistent, reliable freight and meaningful home time, making it an attractive choice for professional truck drivers seeking steady employment and a supportive work environment. The company has built a strong reputation by fostering long-term relationships with its drivers, advocating for clear communication, respect, and flexibility in scheduling. With a fleet of modern, well-maintained trucks ranging from 2022 to 2026 models, Riverside ensures drivers operate reliable equipment that meets high safety and comfort standards. Joining Riverside Transport means becoming part of a company that values its drivers not just as employees but as members of a community.
The role available at Riverside Transport is for CDL-A Truck Drivers who will be responsible for operating company-assigned trucks to transport dry van freight. This is a full-time, long-haul position offering competitive pay that can reach up to $93,600 annually based on experience and performance, combined with benefits like a $1,500 sign-on bonus and $500 paid orientation. Drivers benefit from a 100 percent no-touch freight setup, meaning minimal manual handling of cargo, helping reduce fatigue and improve efficiency. Freight is predominantly drop-and-hook type, which enhances operational predictability and reduces wait times, complemented by $20 stop pay for deliveries. Drivers typically run routes of 7 to 10 days, which balances earning opportunities with predictable home time.
Additional compensation includes per diem of up to $0.15 per mile (max $440 weekly) and fuel and safety incentives, boosting take-home pay. Drivers joining Riverside also enjoy full benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as access to an uncapped referral bonus program that pays up to $4,500 for each successful driver referral. With a focus on driver support, Riverside maintains a favorable ratio of drivers to dispatchers to improve communication and provide top-notch freight service with award-winning shippers. The company’s commitment to driver satisfaction and career growth makes it a sought-after employer in the trucking industry, particularly for those with a Class A CDL and a minimum of one year recent over-the-road experience. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, providing flexibility for candidates looking to join the team at any time.
