We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Food and Beverage Service Attendants. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining complimentary food and beverage service and dining areas that align with the hotel's sustainability and brand standards. Your duties will include greeting guests warmly, assisting them promptly, and ensuring the dining environment is inviting and pristine. As a Food and Beverage Service Attendant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing overall guest satisfaction. You will meet and greet guests upon arrival, offering seating options and escorting them to their tables. You will maintain food safety by setting up attractive food displays, adhering to cleanliness protocols, and managing the proper setup of dining areas. Additionally, you will handle tasks such as carrying food, dishes, trays, and silverware, cleaning and polishing service areas, replenishing supplies including glassware, condiments, and ice, and managing the clearing and washing process of used tableware. Your attention to detail and commitment to safe work habits will contribute to a smooth and efficient dining service.
Working in this role requires a flexible schedule, often involving holidays and weekends, as hospitality is a dynamic and guest-centered industry. The physical demands include standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting items up to 25 pounds, and performing various motions like bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching. - High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Food sanitation certification a plus and required within 90 days of employment
- Previous food and beverage experience preferred or equivalent training

Job Duties
- Meet and greet guests as they arrive, offer choice of seating, and escort guests to their seats
- Carry food, dishes, trays, or silverware from pantry to serving counters
- Set up attractive food displays and maintain cleanliness to ensure food safety
- Maintain proper set-up of dining room and wipe tables or seats with dampened cloths
- Scrape and stack dirty dishes and carry dishes and other tableware to kitchens for cleaning
- Clean up spilled food or drink or broken dishes and remove trash
- Maintain adequate supplies of items such as clean glassware, dishes, or trays
- Fill beverage and ice dispensers
- Stock cabinets or serving areas with condiments and refill condiment containers
- Locate and provide items requested by guests
- Clean and polish counters, shelves, walls, furniture, or equipment in service area and mop or vacuum floors
- Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction
- Practice safe work habits and use required safety equipment
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction
- Perform other duties as requested by management
