Hilton is a globally recognized leader in the hospitality industry, with a rich heritage of welcoming over 3 billion guests worldwide. Known for its world-class brands and an unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences, Hilton is dedicated to filling the world with the light and warmth of hospitality. This commitment extends deeply into the workplace culture, where Hilton has been repeatedly honored as one of the World's Best Workplaces by Great Place to Work and Fortune. Joining Hilton means becoming part of an award-winning team where diversity, inclusion, and career growth are prioritized, providing team members with opportunities to develop professionally and personally.
As a Barback at Hilton, you are not just preparing bar areas for service; you are a vital part of the hospitality experience that helps create memorable stays for every guest. In this role, you will support bartenders by preparing fresh ingredients such as cutting, slicing, and peeling garnishes and fruits, mixing juices, and organizing all supplies in designated containers. Your efforts ensure that the bar is fully stocked with essentials like glassware, ice, produce, condiments, and paper products, maintaining seamless operations. Additionally, you will manage beer kegs and taps, transporting and replacing them to guarantee uninterrupted service.
Inventory management is another key component of your responsibilities, where you will retrieve orders from storage, visually check stock levels, match this with written requisitions, and confirm deliveries. Maintaining cleanliness is paramount, so you will ensure that bar and storage areas, including refrigerators and beer lockers, are kept clean and sanitary. You will uphold regulatory compliance by adhering to health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards, all of which contribute to the well-being of guests and team members alike.
Hilton embodies core values that guide the success of its team members. These include a deep passion for hospitality, acting with integrity, inspiring leadership, fostering teamwork, demonstrating ownership and accountability, and focusing on the present moment to make a lasting impact. As a Barback, you are expected to embody these values, bringing energy and precision to every task and contributing positively to both guest experiences and the team environment.
Beyond the daily duties, Hilton offers a nurturing and dynamic workplace where team members are supported to thrive. Whether you are embarking on your hospitality career or seeking to expand your expertise, Hilton provides resources, training, and career advancement opportunities that empower you to flourish. The company places a high value on inclusivity and teamwork, ensuring a welcoming environment where your efforts are recognized and your growth is fostered. Being part of Hilton means joining a global family dedicated to hospitality excellence and making a meaningful difference in the lives of guests and colleagues alike.
Explore a career path that is not only rewarding but also impactful. At Hilton, you will help create magical stays for guests while building your own professional journey in a supportive and inspiring setting. Join Hilton’s team and be a part of a workplace that feels more like home, where exceptional hospitality truly starts with you.
