What truly distinguishes Baptist Health is its people. The culture here emphasizes meaningful personal connections among colleagues and with patients and their families, often transcending the clinical setting. Many team members bring their own experiences as patients, which fuels their commitment to compassion and quality care. At Baptist Health, every employee is part of a purposeful culture that drives positive impact. The organization supports its employees throughout their personal and professional journeys with a philosophy of "grow our own," encouraging career growth, development, and long-term meaningful careers.
The role of Community Programs Coordinator at Baptist Health involves the planning, coordination, and execution of community-based programs and events that promote wellness and health education. This position requires securing clinical speakers and venues, marketing programs, and acting as the main liaison between speakers, the community, and the marketing team. The coordinator will manage and cultivate relationships with non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and key community partners, aiming to expand existing partnerships and promote wellness initiatives benefiting the community at large. This position also serves as a peer leader for other coordinators within the department and actively supports Baptist Health South Florida’s strategic priorities by identifying opportunities and cross-promoting services aligned with those priorities. The estimated pay range for this position is $20.62 to $24.95 per hour, dependent on experience. This role demands travel within Miami-Dade, Broward, and Monroe counties and requires excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish are advantageous. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, along with a minimum of four years of experience, preferably with exposure to healthcare settings.
This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a respected and dynamic healthcare institution focused on community wellness and patient-centered care. Baptist Health’s supportive environment includes comprehensive benefits such as career growth opportunities, wellness programs, tuition reimbursement, and health resources designed to help employees thrive personally and professionally. This role plays a critical part in connecting the community with Baptist Health’s expert services and strategic mission to deliver outstanding healthcare and promote the health of the South Florida community.
