Reporting directly to the Property Supervisor, the Community Manager II is responsible for implementing policies and programs that ensure optimal property maintenance, fiscal responsibility, regulatory compliance, and resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include leading maintenance and janitorial staff, managing vendor relations, and conducting regular inspections to maintain the property's physical assets. The role also requires active involvement in marketing and leasing activities to sustain full occupancy levels, including advertising, application processing, leasing, and managing waiting lists. Financial duties encompass rent collection, budget preparation, financial reporting, and managing delinquent accounts, all facilitated through Eden Housing's accounting systems.

Community engagement is a cornerstone of the role, as the Community Manager II promotes harmonious relations among residents and staff, supports resident organizations, and collaborates with social services to address resident needs. The position demands a high level of organization and professionalism in managing property administration, ensuring compliance with fair housing laws, and maintaining accurate records. Personnel management is equally important, involving hiring, training, evaluating, and motivating staff to work effectively as a team.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum three years experience in property or community management
  • valid driver's license
