The center is rooted in the rich tradition of the Catholic Church and strives to foster spiritual growth and transformation through reverent worship, comprehensive formation, warm hospitality, and enthusiastic service. SPCSC is committed to nurturing a faith-filled and supportive environment where students can deepen their faith and live out the mission of Christ in their daily lives. As a vital part of the Catholic tradition in the academic community, SPCSC serves as both a spiritual home and a hub for community engagement, ensuring that every student has access to ministry, fellowship, and resources that encourage holistic development.
The Community Manager plays a crucial role within this dynamic organization by overseeing the day-to-day operations of the center’s office and facilities. Reporting directly to the Rector, the Community Manager is responsible for a diverse range of administrative, operational, and financial duties that ensure the smooth functioning of the center. This position requires a thoughtful and organized individual who is deeply committed to the mission of the Catholic Church and capable of managing the practical and relational aspects of ministry support. The Community Manager acts as a steward of the center’s resources and facilities, carefully managing vendors, overseeing maintenance, coordinating schedules, and handling budget considerations. This role also supports the broader ministry by facilitating communication, assisting staff and volunteers, and fostering a workplace atmosphere that reflects Gospel values and Catholic teachings.
Serving as a key collaborator with the Rector, other staff members, and student ministries, the Community Manager ensures that the center operates efficiently and is prepared to meet the needs of its community. Major responsibilities include supervising volunteers and interns, managing office logistics, maintaining vendor relationships, and administering financial records, all while upholding a welcoming and professional environment. The Community Manager is expected to participate in religious and professional development opportunities to enrich their ministry capability and align closely with the spiritual mission of the organization. Beyond traditional office management tasks, this position demonstrates a unique blend of administrative acumen and ministerial dedication, making it an indispensable pillar of the St. Peter Catholic Student Center community. This is a meaningful opportunity for a dedicated professional who seeks not only to manage operational details but also to engage deeply in ministry service aligned with the Catholic tradition.
