The Community Manager role at Asset Living is pivotal for the successful management and operation of housing communities under the guidance of a Regional Manager. This role requires oversight of all community operations including personnel management, leasing, maintenance, financial oversight, administrative duties, and risk management, ensuring compliance with company policies and federal regulations such as Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements. As the on-site leader and primary representative of the property, the Community Manager is responsible for maintaining property standards, driving resident satisfaction, and leading a diverse team of staff members to accomplish the community's financial and operational goals. The position demands regular on-site attendance and hands-on leadership involving staff screening, training, coaching, and performance management, as well as the development and implementation of marketing and leasing strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue. Furthermore, the Community Manager will be responsible for emergency management, maintaining excellent customer service standards, property inspections, and resource management including vendor coordination and budget oversight.
This position is full-time and offers a competitive hourly salary range from $38 to $41 depending on experience, skillset, and certifications. Compensation is supported by a comprehensive total rewards package that includes medical, dental, vision, life, accidental, and disability insurance, 401K with employer matching, commission and performance bonuses where applicable, paid sick days, and company holidays. The role is classified as safety-sensitive and may require compliance with additional regulations. Applicants must possess reliable transportation due to emergency on-call requirements and be prepared to work varied hours including overtime, weekends, and nights as necessary to ensure community needs and emergencies are effectively handled. Asset Living welcomes applicants who are committed to fostering thriving communities and exemplifying leadership, teamwork, and customer service excellence in their property management career.
