This extensive range of property types showcases the company's commitment to providing exceptional living experiences tailored to various community needs throughout the country.
Asset Living prides itself on its dynamic and talented team that brings diverse skills and perspectives, driving innovation and outstanding results for clients and communities nationwide. Employees at Asset Living are part of a unified culture that emphasizes shared success and mutual support, which has earned the company prestigious recognitions such as being one of the nation’s Best and Brightest Places to Work and ranking in the NMHC top 50 professionals within the property management industry.
As a Community Manager at Asset Living, you will hold a pivotal role in managing the entire operations of a residential housing community. Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, this full-time position requires hands-on leadership and comprehensive oversight of leasing, maintenance, personnel, financial management, administration, and risk mitigation for the property. The Community Manager will be responsible for supervising on-site staff, ensuring compliance with company policies, housing regulations such as Fair Housing laws, health and safety standards, and maintaining a secure and welcoming environment for residents.
In this leadership role, you will actively engage with residents and staff to promote harmony, efficiency, and high-quality customer service. Your duties will include personnel management, such as hiring, training, coaching, performance management, and development of on-site teams. You will also oversee financial aspects by preparing budgets, controlling costs, optimizing revenue through effective leasing strategies, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Additionally, you will take charge of implementing marketing plans to attract and retain residents, managing resident relations to address concerns and improve satisfaction, and coordinating regular maintenance and property appearance inspections to uphold community standards. The position demands consistent on-site presence with regular or daily attendance to respond promptly to emergencies and maintain operational stability. This role requires a proactive, hands-on leader who can handle a variety of challenges and collaborate across multiple departments to achieve property and company goals.
Asset Living offers competitive compensation ranging from $40,000 to $43,000 per year, dependent on individual skills, experience, and certifications. The company provides a comprehensive total rewards package, including medical, dental, vision, life, accidental, and disability insurance, a 401(k) plan with employer matching, and eligibility for commissions and performance bonuses when applicable. Full-time employees benefit from paid sick days and company-observed holidays, reflecting the company’s commitment to supporting employee well-being and work-life balance.
Joining Asset Living as a Community Manager means becoming part of an innovative and respected company that values leadership, teamwork, and excellence in property management. It is an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to thriving residential communities while advancing your career in a supportive and rewarding environment.
