Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Must have knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements
  • Must have reliable transportation due to emergency on-call responsibilities
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and night hours as needed
  • Physical ability to perform tasks including standing, sitting for prolonged periods, lifting up to 25 lbs, and working in various environmental conditions

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • four years of experience in the housing industry or related field
  • Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred
  • Basic computer skills with ability to operate on-site software
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements
  • Strong leadership and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily operations of the housing community under the supervision of the Regional Manager
  • Manage personnel including hiring, training, coaching, and performance evaluations
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, Fair Housing laws, and safety regulations
  • Develop and implement strategic leasing and marketing plans to maximize occupancy and resident satisfaction
  • Monitor financial performance, prepare budgets, and manage rent collections and vendor invoices
  • Supervise maintenance activities and property appearance through regular inspections and coordination
  • Handle resident complaints and manage resident retention programs to enhance community engagement
