Job Description
This position is for a responsive recruiter who will work closely with a franchised AFC Urgent Care location in Bakersfield. The role entails marketing and promoting urgent care services to local businesses, physicians, schools, and consumers with the goal of increasing patient volume and expanding business partnerships. Responsibilities include organizing community outreach events, managing relationships with referral sources, developing and executing targeted marketing campaigns across digital, social, and traditional platforms, and maintaining strong community ties. The recruiter will handle event logistics, marketing materials, and promotional giveaways to attract potential clients while supporting volunteer recruitment and partnership growth. This role demands a motivated, organized professional with excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to conduct face-to-face sales and cold calling. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or relevant education
- 1-2 years of marketing and sales experience
- Experience organizing and managing community events
- Ability to conduct face-to-face sales and cold calling
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
- Understanding of healthcare marketing
- Spanish fluency preferred
- Familiarity with healthcare industry regulations
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or relevant education
- Successful experience developing, implementing, and achieving results with sales and marketing strategies
- Ability to conduct face to face sales appointments, cold and warm calling, including direct-to-consumer, business, and physicians
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Ability to be independent, motivated, and results-driven in establishing new business and maintaining account communication
- 1-2 years experience organizing and managing community events
- 1-2 years experience creating, managing, and optimizing campaigns across digital, social, and traditional platforms
- Proven track record of marketing success with measurable results
- Understanding of marketing strategies specific to healthcare and urgent care
- Fluency in Spanish preferred
- Medical knowledge or healthcare marketing background preferred
Job Duties
- Organize and manage community events to increase local awareness and strengthen relationships with businesses, medical practices, and referral sources
- Develop and define target markets, business opportunities, and customers through data mining and research
- Create, manage, and optimize digital, social, and traditional marketing campaigns to build brand awareness
- Develop and execute tailored marketing strategies for urgent care and healthcare services
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess campaign effectiveness
- Collaborate with leadership to align marketing efforts with business goals
- Increase patient volume and maintain relationships with referral sources, community organizations, and stakeholders
