Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in event execution or customer-facing roles
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in varying environmental conditions
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within a 50-mile radius
  • Commitment to adhere to safety protocols

Job Qualifications

  • 1-2 years in event execution, hospitality, community engagement, or customer-facing roles
  • Skilled at managing event logistics and leading staff from start to finish
  • Experience directing small teams and coordinating vendors during fast-paced events
  • Confidence in engaging new and existing customers, partners, and senior leaders with warmth and clarity
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for people, events, and delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Independent, adaptable, and energized by fast-moving, high-impact environments
  • Expert in mobile photography with an eye for clean, well-composed, and scroll-stopping photos
  • Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays to support event and store needs
  • Comfortable with up to 50% travel within a 50-mile radius

Job Duties

  • Lead and deliver engaging in-store and external community events that boost brand visibility and drive foot traffic
  • Coordinate setup, breakdown, staffing, and vendor needs to ensure smooth, successful events
  • Serve as the main contact during events, answering questions and ensuring a positive experience and impression of Wayfair
  • Manage distribution and tracking of promotional materials and coupons accurately
  • Capture and help create engaging social media content in partnership with the Marketing team
  • Work closely with leadership, store support teams, and People Operations to align event goals with business priorities
  • Assist with visual merchandising and promotional displays during non-event periods to keep the store fresh and inviting
