Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in event execution or customer-facing roles
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in varying environmental conditions
- Willingness to travel up to 50% within a 50-mile radius
- Commitment to adhere to safety protocols
Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years in event execution, hospitality, community engagement, or customer-facing roles
- Skilled at managing event logistics and leading staff from start to finish
- Experience directing small teams and coordinating vendors during fast-paced events
- Confidence in engaging new and existing customers, partners, and senior leaders with warmth and clarity
- Detail-oriented with a passion for people, events, and delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Independent, adaptable, and energized by fast-moving, high-impact environments
- Expert in mobile photography with an eye for clean, well-composed, and scroll-stopping photos
- Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays to support event and store needs
- Comfortable with up to 50% travel within a 50-mile radius
Job Duties
- Lead and deliver engaging in-store and external community events that boost brand visibility and drive foot traffic
- Coordinate setup, breakdown, staffing, and vendor needs to ensure smooth, successful events
- Serve as the main contact during events, answering questions and ensuring a positive experience and impression of Wayfair
- Manage distribution and tracking of promotional materials and coupons accurately
- Capture and help create engaging social media content in partnership with the Marketing team
- Work closely with leadership, store support teams, and People Operations to align event goals with business priorities
- Assist with visual merchandising and promotional displays during non-event periods to keep the store fresh and inviting
