This position plays a pivotal role in supporting the successful execution of M&T’s key priorities within the Connecticut Community Bank region. The coordinator will facilitate community and internal events, manage ticketing for both internal and external customers, and act as the primary liaison between internal teams, external customers, and outside vendors. This ensures that all events and sponsorship activations are delivered cost-effectively and align with the bank’s brand standards. The role requires managing the logistics for events, including onsite coordination, and helping to conceptualize, develop, and implement programs that enhance customer and employee engagement. The candidate will coordinate events such as Town Halls, employee appreciation events, client gatherings, thought leadership seminars, and large-scale volunteering efforts. Additionally, the role involves managing ticketing and seating allocations, overseeing large sponsorship relationships, conducting site visits for event venues, and maintaining comprehensive calendars for community bank region events. The ideal candidate should have strong relationship management skills to interact professionally across all levels of management, exceptional project and time management abilities, and a knack for organizing and prioritizing multiple tasks. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required, as well as willingness to travel within the region, is essential.\n\nThis full-time position is based in Bridgeport Center and supports regional activities throughout Connecticut. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 1 year work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience including at least 1 year work experience

Job Duties
- Partner across all lines of business to ensure engaging customer and employee experience for events sponsored by the Regional President in the respective Community Bank Region
- Conceptualize, develop, execute, and evaluate programs related to the Community Bank Region in partnership with the Retail Sales Strategy and Activation Group
- Participate in working groups for internal communications platforms utilized to amplify events, volunteerism, and community impact
- Utilize internal communications platforms to promote events, volunteerism, and community impact
- Respond to requests for ticketing and event assistance for internal and external clients, including group accommodations
- Manage ticketing logistics and seating allocations, including non-charitable sponsorship events
- Review event contracts and obtain proper signatures as defined by the Bank
- Track and reconcile ticketing process and event spend
- process invoices for events and ticketing-related expenses
- Provide activation liaison for large sponsorship relationships to maximize asset utilization and brand impact
- Conduct site visits and inspections of venues to ensure suitability and compliance with internal requirements
- Provide onsite event coordinating logistics as needed
- Plan and execute a mix of internal and external corporate events including Town Halls, employee engagement and appreciation events, client events and thought leadership seminars, large-scale volunteer events
- Participate in industry related events as appropriate
- Assist with maintaining a comprehensive internal Community Bank Region community calendar that captures internal and external events
- Understand and adhere to company risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls
- Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand
- Maintain internal control standards including addressing audit points and regulator issues
- Complete other related duties as assigned
