Job Description

Suvida Healthcare is a compassionate healthcare organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for Medicare-eligible Hispanic seniors through a tailored, multidisciplinary primary care program. Specialized in addressing not only the physical health but also the behavioral, social, and cultural needs of underserved seniors, Suvida Healthcare promotes diversity and inclusivity, creating an environment that values and respects the unique backgrounds of both its patients and staff. The company embraces a culture grounded in core values such as earning trust, building relationships, creating joy, doing right, improving every day, and moving forward, fostering a service-centered community that puts the well-being of seniors at the forefront. Suvida Healthcare stands out as an employer of choice by investing in its team members through competitive pay, best-in-class medical and dental coverage, free mental health and life coaching, generous paid time off, and retirement plans with company matching.

The Community Events Coordinator position within Suvida Healthcare offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to the organization's mission by planning and executing strategic community events aimed at engaging current and potential patients and their families. Reporting to the Director of Growth, this role involves developing partnerships with local community organizations and stakeholders to strengthen health equity and enhance the consumer experience. The coordinator will collaborate closely with various internal teams including marketing, neighborhood engagement, and brokers to drive growth-oriented events that resonate culturally and socially with the Hispanic senior community. Responsibilities include organizing onsite and external events, promoting them effectively, negotiating with vendors, tracking event success metrics, and ensuring compliance with government regulations such as CMS and HIPAA. Additionally, the role requires the ability to educate community partners about the Suvida care model and to travel locally and regionally as needed. This is a purpose-driven career path with a meaningful impact on community health, supported by a company that values employee well-being and professional growth.
