Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in communications, social work, nonprofit management, or related field or relevant experience
- Minimum of four years in community outreach, education, or program promotion preferably within nonprofit sector
- Experience organizing events and engaging diverse community members
- Experience in marketing strategies and communications promoting community programs
- Proven ability to build relationships with community organizations and stakeholders
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in social media, data management, and office software
- Strong organizational skills managing multiple outreach events
- Basic knowledge of child maltreatment indicators and prevention with recent mandatory reporting training
- Commitment to mission and values of Family Tree Relief Nursery
- Enrollment in State Childcare Division Central Background Registry
- Must obtain and maintain Oregon Food Handler's Card
- Must obtain and maintain Adult/Pediatric CPR & First Aid certifications
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license
- Personal auto liability coverage
- Driving record eligible for corporate liability coverage
- Completion of agency driving approval process

Job Duties
- Attend and actively participate in all program and department tabling events serving as key representative in Linn and Benton County
- Collaborate with TECP Program Director and Development team to plan and execute community table and fundraising events
- Develop and implement outreach strategies to educate community about programs and services
- Conduct presentations, workshops, and information sessions to inform community members and organizations
- Lead planning and execution of tabling events, workshops, and community gatherings
- Forge partnerships with local organizations to co-host events and maximize outreach
- Create promotional materials and leverage social media, newsletters, and bulletin boards to enhance outreach
- Gather and analyze feedback and data from community events to assess effectiveness
- Maintain records of outreach activities and provide regular reports
- Work with program managers and staff to ensure accurate information dissemination
- Identify and pursue opportunities for community partnerships
- Organize materials and resources for outreach activities
- Maintain meticulous records supporting transparency and accountability
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by Executive and Program Directors
- Adhere to health and safety standards
- Participate in supervision and team meetings
- Complete data and reports timely
- Document hours and mileage
- Engage in community and family events
- Maintain knowledge of child maltreatment indicators and prevention
- Maintain acceptable driving record and reliable transportation
