Job Description

Park Vista is a dedicated senior living community committed to providing compassionate and holistic care to our residents who have once devoted their lives to caring for others. We take immense pride in our mission to allow our residents to live their best years with dignity, comfort, and respect. Our focus is on supporting families by relieving them from caregiving duties and offering a well-trained, compassionate team that continuously strives to enhance the quality of life for our residents. At Park Vista, we uphold four core values: Dignity, Collaboration, Compassion, and Transparency, which guide us in delivering exceptional care and fostering a warm, family-like atmosphere.

We are seeking a Community Director to join our passionate team. This full-time position offers an annual salary ranging from $60,000 to $75,000, depending on experience and education. As the Community Director, you will serve as an influential leader who partners closely with the Regional Executive Director to steer both short and long-term strategic planning for the community. Your role is vital in supporting change management initiatives and ensuring the seamless operation of our residential community. You will be responsible for leadership duties across multiple functional areas, including recruitment, employee development, coaching, motivation, and performance management.

You will enhance resident engagement and satisfaction by creating an effective and smooth operation that promptly addresses any grievances from residents, families, or staff. Regular on-site support, leadership, mentoring, and training to the team of Directors will be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will play a key role in managing staffing levels suitable to occupancy while balancing the community’s fiscal health and budget. Collaborating with the Regional Sales and Marketing Director, you will help maintain accountability for sales activities and initiatives geared toward meeting or exceeding monthly budget goals.

Your financial acumen will be utilized to oversee property budgets, monitor monthly expenditure reports, and maintain fiscal responsibility across all departments. You will also partner with Human Resources on employment matters such as performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and termination protocols. Safety and comfort for residents is paramount; therefore, you will monitor building and facility needs, inspect for compliance with standards, and ensure a pleasant living environment.

This role requires involvement with state audits, compliance monitoring, complaint investigations, and driving solutions with your team. You will be expected to ensure 24/7 coverage to manage any urgent needs or emergencies through personal on-call participation or delegation to appropriate team members. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential to successfully execute your leadership responsibilities. At Park Vista, you will be part of a supportive environment where your contributions truly make a difference in the lives of residents, families, and staff alike. Join us where we 'Make It Matter'.
