The Community Concierge role at AvalonBay Communities in Vienna, Virginia, is a part-time position offering between 16 scheduled weekly hours. This position specifically requires availability on Saturdays and Sundays from 3 PM to 11 PM, making it ideal for individuals seeking flexible supplemental work or valuable hospitality industry experience. The role is suited for a strong communicator with excellent organizational and time management skills who can remain patient and composed under pressure, providing superior customer service to all residents, vendors, and prospective tenants. Educationally, a high school diploma or GED is required, and preference is given to those with at least one year of related experience in hospitality, retail, or restaurant settings.
