Job Description

Core Spaces (Core) is a pioneering real estate investment manager that transcends the conventional definition of a property company by placing people at the heart of its operations. Established in 2010, Core specializes in acquiring, developing, and managing residential communities with a strong focus on the student housing and build-to-rent (BTR) sectors. The company is renowned for creating vibrant living environments that blend world-class amenities, innovative design, and hospitality-driven services to redefine modern living. Today, Core Spaces manages over 74,440 student housing beds and has a development pipeline exceeding 53,860 beds, along with more than 3,000 BTR homes across high-growth metropolitan areas in the United States. This scale of operations places Core among the leaders in its sector, known for its dedication to quality and community engagement.

Core Spaces' cultural values form the foundation of its commitment to success and collaboration. These six guiding principles are PUSH (to invent better places to live), GRIT (embracing a determined mindset), LIFT (supporting each other's success), SHINE (encouraging authenticity), UPHOLD (maintaining unwavering trust), and GROW (pursuit of continuous improvement). This culture not only inspires employees but also drives Core's mission to enhance the resident experience through innovation, partnership, and genuine connection.

The Community Concierge role is a crucial on-site position within Core's leasing office operations. This role centers on fostering resident satisfaction and engagement by ensuring seamless daily office functions and delivering outstanding customer service. Beyond traditional leasing responsibilities, the Community Concierge actively conducts prospect tours, follows up with potential residents, and supports marketing and community events designed to retain residents and build a strong sense of community. The position requires flexibility to work a minimum of 15 hours weekly, including full shifts of at least 3 hours, and the ability to cover evenings, weekends, and overtime when necessary. This flexibility is critical, particularly during move-in or move-out periods, when extended hours may be required.

In addition to resident-facing duties, the Community Concierge contributes to marketing efforts by creating content using tools like Canva, managing social media posts, and helping secure partnership opportunities to enrich the community experience. The role also involves evening and overnight on-call responsibilities for resident support, demonstrating the high level of trust and accountability expected. Clerical and office-related tasks further highlight the diverse nature of this position, requiring adaptability and a commitment to operational excellence.

Core Spaces values candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent who demonstrate integrity, respect, and the ability to work effectively in team settings. Strong communication skills, time management, and proficiency with technology platforms such as Microsoft Office and Google Suite are highly advantageous. Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and maintain physical endurance for various on-site activities. Overall, the Community Concierge serves as a vital ambassador for Core's brand, upholding product presentation standards and representing the community at external events.

This role offers competitive pay and a supportive work environment where employees have a meaningful voice, generous paid time off, access to confidential support services via the Employee Assistance Program, and retirement planning options including 401(k) matching with Roth contributions. Core Spaces believes in fostering a culture of belonging and continuous professional growth, making this opportunity ideal for individuals committed to innovation and community building in real estate management.
