Job Description
Core Spaces (Core) is a distinguished real estate investment manager that transcends traditional property development by emphasizing the importance of people and relationships. Founded in 2010, Core specializes in acquiring, developing, and managing premier residential properties in two primary sectors: student housing and build-to-rent (BTR). The company is driven by a culture steeped in six core values: PUSH (Invent Better Places to Live), GRIT (We Got This), LIFT (Help Each Other Win), SHINE (Bring Your Full Self), UPHOLD (Never Break Trust), and GROW (Always Get Better). These values not only guide daily operations but also foster an environment of collaboration, innovation, and excellence aimed at redefining modern living experiences.
Core’s vertically integrated approach enables it to maintain control over every phase of the property lifecycle, ensuring exceptional amenities, progressive designs, and hospitality-driven services that resonate with today’s residents. The company manages a substantial student housing portfolio of over 74,440 beds and has an extensive growth pipeline with more than 53,860 beds under development. Simultaneously, the BTR division is making significant strides, with over 3,000 homes in various stages, including leasing and development, across high-growth metropolitan regions. This expansive footprint underscores Core’s commitment to creating vibrant, community-focused living spaces that enhance resident satisfaction and lifestyle quality.
The Community Concierge role within Core Spaces is integral to maintaining the smooth operation of the leasing office and enhancing the resident experience. This position requires an adaptable, engaging individual responsible for delivering exceptional service through conducting community tours, facilitating follow-ups with prospective residents, and leading marketing and resident retention initiatives. The Community Concierge also fulfills on-call responsibilities to address resident needs promptly, contributing to a welcoming and responsive residential environment.
In addition to property-related tasks, the Community Concierge supports clerical and office duties, underscoring the role’s versatility. This position demands effective communication skills, creativity in marketing efforts such as social media management and content creation using tools like Canva, and strong organizational capabilities. The expectation to represent Core Spaces in various community and student organization events further highlights the role’s community engagement aspect.
This opportunity offers a competitive hourly wage of USD 16.82 with potential additional earning through a $25 commission per lease, reflecting the company’s recognition of high performance in leasing activities. Core Spaces also values its employees by providing impactful benefits such as a 20% employee housing discount, generous paid time off, and retirement options like 401(k) with matching and Roth accounts. This role offers a supportive and inclusive work environment where diversity is celebrated, and each employee is empowered to bring their authentic selves to work.
Working as a Community Concierge at Core Spaces means being part of a mission-driven organization that values innovation, excellence, and resident-centric service. It challenges individuals to grow, collaborate, and contribute to shaping the future of living through dynamic real estate solutions. This is an excellent position for those passionate about real estate, customer service, and community development, seeking a role that blends operational duties with strategic marketing and engagement activities, all within a company that genuinely values its people and their contributions.
