Job Description
Core Spaces (Core) is a dynamic and innovative real estate investment manager that goes beyond simply constructing buildings; we build relationships and communities. Established in 2010, Core has focused its efforts on the student housing and build-to-rent (BTR) sectors, making a significant impact on how people experience residential living. Combining world-class amenities, progressive design, and hospitality-driven service, Core has developed a reputation for creating exceptional living environments that cater to the needs and lifestyles of today’s residents. Our diverse team includes researchers, architects, designers, and operators who are united by a mission to invent the future of living. This focus on collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement defines our company culture and shapes everything we do. We are deeply committed to enhancing the resident experience and redefining community living standards.
Our growing portfolio currently includes over 74,440 student housing beds that we either own or manage, with an additional pipeline of over 53,860 beds in development. Within our BTR division, we have more than 3,000 homes developed, leasing, or planned across key high-growth metropolitan areas nationwide. Core is built on six core cultural values that guide both our business practices and employee engagement: PUSH (Invent Better Places to Live), GRIT (We Got This), LIFT (Help Each Other Win), SHINE (Bring Your Full Self), UPHOLD (Never Break Trust), and GROW (Always Get Better). These values foster a supportive and inclusive work environment where creativity and dedication thrive.
The Community Concierge position is essential in ensuring seamless day-to-day operations within our leasing offices located across our residential communities. This role offers a unique opportunity to be the face of the property, directly influencing resident satisfaction, community engagement, and overall operational success. As a vital on-site team member, the Community Concierge is responsible for conducting prospect tours, managing follow-ups, spearheading marketing and resident retention activities, and providing evening and overnight on-call support. Adaptability is key as this role also involves assisting with clerical and office-related tasks, supporting move-ins and move-outs beyond regular shifts, and helping to maintain high standards of property presentation aligned with Core’s brand.
This part-time role requires a strong commitment to service excellence, communication skills, and an ability to foster meaningful relationships with residents and prospects alike. Candidates should expect a flexible schedule, including the possibility of evening, weekend, and occasional overtime hours. This flexibility allows the Community Concierge to respond to the dynamic needs of the property and ensure a welcoming, well-maintained, and efficiently operated community. Working at Core means joining a culture that values belonging and provides a platform for your voice and contributions to be heard and appreciated. We also offer competitive pay, generous paid time off, access to support services through our Employee Assistance Program, and robust retirement options including a 401(k) with matching and Roth choices.
Overall, this role is well-suited for individuals who demonstrate integrity, enthusiasm, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. If you are passionate about delivering outstanding resident experiences and are excited about contributing to a forward-thinking real estate firm that is transforming residential living, Core Spaces is the place for you to grow your career and make a meaningful impact.
