Job Description

Core Spaces (Core) is more than just a real estate company; it is a dynamic people-oriented organization dedicated to transforming the way individuals live and interact within their residential communities. Established in 2010, Core has rapidly grown into a vertically integrated real estate investment manager specializing in acquiring, developing, and managing student housing and build-to-rent (BTR) sectors. At its core, the company prioritizes building lasting relationships alongside innovative property development. Its culture is deeply rooted in six core values: PUSH (Invent Better Places to Live), GRIT (We Got This), LIFT (Help Each Other Win), SHINE (Bring Your Full Self), UPHOLD (Never Break Trust), and GROW (Always Get Better). These values are not mere slogans, but the guiding principles shaping every interaction, project, and service that Core delivers.

With an extensive portfolio that includes over 74,440 student housing beds currently owned or managed and a significant pipeline of more than 53,860 beds in development, Core is at the forefront of the student living experience. In addition, its BTR division encompasses over 3,000 homes either under development, actively leasing, or planned across high-growth metropolitan areas nationwide. Core’s commitment to world-class amenities, thoughtful progressive design, and hospitality-driven services fosters vibrant, engaging, and comfortable communities for its residents. This fuels Core’s ongoing mission to redefine living spaces and resident experiences.

The Community Concierge role at Core is essential within this innovative organization. The position is based onsite in the leasing office of residential properties and plays a pivotal part in ensuring smooth operational flow daily. The Community Concierge is a highly visible ambassador for the community, tasked with conducting property tours, engaging potential residents through follow-ups, spearheading marketing and resident retention initiatives, and providing vital support during overnight on-call hours. This role is suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, relationship-centered environment and who is committed to excellence and adaptability in various tasks ranging from administrative duties to active community engagement.

This part-time position requires a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week, with shifts scheduled to meet the property’s needs – often encompassing early evenings and weekends to accommodate resident and prospect availability. The role is compensated at a competitive hourly wage of $16.82, with additional opportunities to earn leasing commissions of $25 per lease signed based on performance. Beyond compensation, Core offers meaningful benefits including a 20% employee housing discount, a supportive culture that champions employee voices, generous paid time off, comprehensive employee assistance programs, competitive retirement savings opportunities including 401(k) with matching and Roth accounts, and much more.

At Core, the Community Concierge is not just a job title; it is a career stepping stone within a thriving community-focused enterprise that values collaboration, innovation, and growth. This position offers the ideal candidate the chance to develop skills in sales, marketing, community relationship building, and customer service in an environment that truly cares about its people and their success. The role demands high integrity, strong communication skills, creativity with marketing tools such as Canva, and the physical ability to perform duties including move-ins and move-outs, evening on-call responsibilities, and community event participation.

Working at Core means being part of a forward-looking company that celebrates diversity and inclusion, encourages professional excellence, and strives to create better living environments. Every day as a Community Concierge at Core is an opportunity to impact resident satisfaction positively and contribute to the company’s mission of inventing the future of living.
