Job Description

Core Spaces (Core) is a dynamic, vertically integrated real estate investment manager specializing in the student housing and build-to-rent (BTR) sectors. Established in 2010, Core has quickly distinguished itself as a forward-thinking company that prioritizes people and relationships just as much as properties. This people-first ethos is embodied in a culture of collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to elevate the resident experience across all its communities. Core’s portfolio is impressive, featuring over 74,440 student housing beds owned or managed, with an additional 53,860 beds in various stages of development. Their BTR division manages over 3,000 homes in development and leasing phases across high-growth metropolitan areas nationwide. Core’s inclusive culture is guided by six foundational values: PUSH (Invent Better Places to Live), GRIT (We Got This), LIFT (Help Each Other Win), SHINE (Bring Your Full Self), UPHOLD (Never Break Trust), and GROW (Always Get Better). These values influence every facet of the company’s operations and employee engagement.

The role of Community Concierge at Core is integral to upholding the company’s mission and values on a day-to-day basis. The Community Concierge acts as the primary point of contact within the leasing office, ensuring seamless operations and exemplary resident experiences. This position requires someone who embodies flexibility, dedication, and a strong sense of community engagement. The Community Concierge is responsible for conducting prospect tours, leading marketing initiatives, assisting with resident retention efforts, and fulfilling overnight on-call duties. Beyond typical office duties, this role demands creativity and proactive outreach, including curating social media content and establishing partnerships that enhance the community’s brand and services.

The Community Concierge is expected to work at least 15 hours per week, with shifts ranging minimum three hours on-site, and must be open to working evenings, weekends, and overtime as necessary. This role supports the complete leasing lifecycle from move-ins and move-outs to marketing presentation and resident event planning. To succeed, candidates must maintain the highest level of integrity, demonstrate outstanding communication skills, and possess the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders including student organizations and internal teams. Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Canva for content creation is highly valued.

Core Spaces offers a workplace that fosters belonging, competitive pay, generous paid time off, and employee support through programs like the Employee Assistance Program (EAP). In addition, retirement options include a 401(k) plan with matching and Roth account flexibility, ensuring financial planning benefits alongside work-life balance. At Core, employees are encouraged to bring their full selves to work, contribute their ideas openly, and grow within a supportive environment that is dedicated to diversity and inclusion. Core Spaces is an Equal Opportunity Employer that celebrates individual uniqueness and strives to maintain an equitable and inclusive workplace where all team members feel empowered and respected.
