Job Description

Core Spaces (Core) is a pioneering real estate investment management company that goes beyond just developing properties; it is a people-first organization that emphasizes the importance of building meaningful relationships. Founded in 2010, Core is a vertically integrated firm specializing in acquiring, developing, and managing high-quality residential communities with a particular focus on the student housing and build-to-rent (BTR) markets. With its extensive portfolio boasting over 74,440 student housing beds currently owned or managed and an additional pipeline of over 53,860 beds in development, Core has established itself as a leader in the sector. The BTR division complements this offering with over 3,000 homes either under development, currently leasing, or planned across rapidly growing metropolitan areas nationwide. Core prides itself on creating living spaces that integrate world-class amenities, progressive architectural design, and hospitality-driven services to enhance the resident experience, setting a new standard in residential real estate.

Core Spaces is a company driven by a set of six core cultural values that guide its everyday operations: PUSH (Invent Better Places to Live), GRIT (We Got This), LIFT (Help Each Other Win), SHINE (Bring Your Full Self), UPHOLD (Never Break Trust), and GROW (Always Get Better). These values foster a collaborative, innovative, and inclusive environment where employees are empowered to contribute their best work and constantly evolve. Core’s culture is one of mutual respect, sincerity, and drive, aiming not only to build exceptional properties but also to cultivate vibrant communities where residents feel truly at home.

The Community Concierge position at Core Spaces plays a critical role in sustaining the daily operations and community atmosphere within the property’s leasing office. This part-time role requires a commitment of at least 15 hours a week with full shifts of a minimum of three hours and the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overtime when needed. The Community Concierge is tasked with a variety of responsibilities that focus on resident satisfaction, community engagement, and marketing efforts. Key functions include conducting prospect tours, timely follow-ups with potential residents, and assisting with the move-in and move-out processes during extended hours. The role also emphasizes marketing by planning and executing resident events, managing social media content and posts, creating marketing materials using design tools such as Canva, and securing partnerships that enhance the community’s outreach.

In addition to these primary tasks, the Community Concierge serves as the overnight on-call contact, performing essential round duties and representing Core Spaces at student organization presentations and sponsored events. The role demands adaptability to support various clerical and office-related tasks as assigned, providing an exceptional level of professionalism and brand consistency in all aspects of the community experience. This role is vital to ensuring that the Core Spaces brand standards are upheld and that residents enjoy an exceptional living environment backed by excellent service.

Core Spaces offers a competitive pay structure that values employee contributions and provides generous paid time off to encourage work-life balance. Employees benefit from a strong culture of belonging and participation where their voices are heard and valued. The company also provides an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offering confidential support services and robust retirement options including a 401(k) plan with matching and Roth account options. This position represents not just an opportunity to work in a dynamic and forward-thinking company but also to contribute to pioneering the future of residential living with a team that believes in innovation, integrity, and community at its core.
