Job Description
Core Spaces (Core) is a distinguished real estate investment manager that goes beyond traditional property management to embody a people-first ethos. Established in 2010, Core has built its reputation on a foundation of relationship building and innovation, believing that the experience and satisfaction of residents are as important as the physical spaces themselves. Operating in the student housing and build-to-rent (BTR) sectors, Core boasts an impressive portfolio comprising over 74,440 student beds owned or managed, alongside a substantial development pipeline exceeding 53,860 beds. Additionally, Core’s BTR division is actively developing, leasing, and planning over 3,000 homes across high-growth metro areas nationwide. This expansive and growing footprint is a testament to Core’s commitment to redefining residential living through world-class amenities, progressive design, and hospitality-driven service.
Core’s culture is deeply embedded with six core values that define its approach and daily operations: PUSH (Invent Better Places to Live), GRIT (We Got This), LIFT (Help Each Other Win), SHINE (Bring Your Full Self), UPHOLD (Never Break Trust), and GROW (Always Get Better). These principles foster an environment of collaboration and continuous improvement, ensuring that both employees and residents thrive. The company prides itself on a culture that offers a genuine sense of belonging, competitive pay, generous paid time off, a supportive environment for sharing perspectives, access to confidential support via an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and robust retirement options including 401(k) with matching and Roth accounts.
The Community Concierge role is integral to Core’s dynamic leasing office operations. This on-site position requires an individual who can skillfully manage day-to-day responsibilities while delivering exceptional customer service that enhances resident engagement and satisfaction. The role covers a broad spectrum of tasks from conducting touring prospects and timely follow-ups to innovative marketing and resident retention initiatives. The concierge is also the face of the community—handling everything from social media content creation to partnering with local organizations and ensuring brand standards are upheld across the property.
The position demands flexibility as it includes evening, weekend, and overnight on-call duties, and the ability to assist with move-ins, move-outs, and property turnovers beyond regular part-time hours. The ideal candidate embodies integrity, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to managing priorities efficiently. Familiarity with marketing tools such as Canva, social media management, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite are highly valued. The physical aspects of the role require the ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, maintain balance on various surfaces, and handle manual tasks involving fine motor skills.
Working conditions include a well-lit, climate-controlled office environment, occasional outdoor events requiring standing and walking, and moderate office noise. Core Spaces is committed to equal opportunity and celebrates diversity, promoting an inclusive workplace where every employee feels proud and supported. In this role, individuals will not only contribute to the success of the property but also grow personally and professionally within an innovative company that truly values its people and their impact on the future of living.
