Job Description

Core Spaces (Core) is more than just a real estate company; it is a people-first organization that champions the importance of building meaningful relationships alongside developing innovative properties. Established in 2010, Core distinguishes itself as a vertically integrated real estate investment manager with a primary focus on the student housing and build-to-rent (BTR) sectors. The company’s portfolio includes over 59,000 student housing beds currently owned or managed, with an additional pipeline exceeding 50,930 beds in various stages of development. Additionally, Core’s BTR division manages over 3,000 homes either under development, now leasing, or in the pipeline across high-growth metropolitan areas nationwide. This dual-sector expertise highlights Core's comprehensive reach within the residential real estate industry, combining world-class amenities, progressive design, and hospitality-driven service to redefine contemporary living experiences.

Core is driven by a culture anchored in six core values that influence its approach to innovation, collaboration, and resident satisfaction. These values include PUSH (Invent Better Places to Live), GRIT (We Got This), LIFT (Help Each Other Win), SHINE (Bring Your Full Self), UPHOLD (Never Break Trust), and GROW (Always Get Better). This cultural foundation ensures that every team member aligns with the company’s mission and continuously strives to enhance the resident experience through creative solutions and dedicated service.

Within this vibrant and forward-thinking environment, the role of the Community Concierge is essential. The Community Concierge serves as the frontline ambassador of the leasing office at residential communities, playing a critical role in day-to-day operations. This position combines proactive prospect engagement, internal and external marketing initiatives, resident retention programs, and responsive overnight on-call duties, all aimed at fostering a strong sense of community and ensuring resident satisfaction. The Community Concierge not only leads property tours and follows up with potential residents but also plans and executes marketing and resident events that embody the Lifestyle by Core brand standards.

Moreover, the Community Concierge may take on various clerical and office-related responsibilities, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to operational excellence. This role demands flexibility, with an expectation to commit to at least 15 hours per week, including the willingness to work full shifts, evenings, weekends, and cover overtime as required. The Community Concierge also functions as a key representative of the community at college events and student organization activities, strengthening local partnerships and outreach efforts. This comprehensive and dynamic role requires a candidate who can balance multiple priorities effectively while maintaining exemplary standards of professionalism and brand representation.

For professionals seeking a growth-oriented career within the real estate sector and who value a collaborative company culture rooted in innovation and integrity, the Community Concierge position at Core Spaces provides a unique opportunity. Benefits at Core include competitive pay, generous paid time off (PTO), opportunities for employee input, confidential employee assistance programs (EAP), and robust retirement options including 401(k) with matching and Roth account options.
