Job Description

Core Spaces (Core) is more than just a real estate company; it is fundamentally a people company where building meaningful relationships is as important as the properties they develop. Since its founding in 2010, Core has emerged as a vertically integrated real estate investment manager specializing in acquiring, developing, and managing residential communities within the student housing and build-to-rent (BTR) sectors. Core’s dedication to innovation and collaboration is reflected in its cultural values: PUSH (Invent Better Places to Live), GRIT (We Got This), LIFT (Help Each Other Win), SHINE (Bring Your Full Self), UPHOLD (Never Break Trust), and GROW (Always Get Better). These values guide the company at every level, forming a foundation that drives a unique approach to real estate—one that seeks to redefine how people live through thoughtful design, world-class amenities, and hospitality-driven service.

Core’s portfolio currently includes over 59,000 student housing beds either owned or managed across diverse locations with a significant pipeline of more than 50,930 beds in development. Their BTR division is equally impressive, with over 3,000 homes under development, leasing, or in the pipeline across high-growth metropolitan areas nationwide. The company’s innovative strategies and commitment to quality have earned it a strong reputation within the real estate investment community.

The Community Concierge position at Core Spaces is essential to maintaining smooth day-to-day leasing office operations within the residential communities. This role acts as a critical point of contact for prospective and current residents, ensuring an outstanding experience from initial tours and follow-ups to resident retention initiatives and community engagement events. The Community Concierge also supports marketing activities including social media content creation and partnership development, showcasing adaptability and a dedication to community success.

This role requires a minimum commitment of 15 hours weekly, with shifts lasting at least three hours on-site. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and additional hours during peak periods is vital. Responsibilities include assisting with move-ins, move-outs, managing community marketing efforts, and providing overnight on-call support. The position demands excellent interpersonal skills, attention to brand standards, and a proactive approach to resident satisfaction.

Working at Core Spaces means becoming part of a culture that values your voice and contributions. The company offers competitive pay, generous paid time off, and employee benefits including an Employee Assistance Program and comprehensive retirement options such as 401(k) with matching and Roth accounts. Employees enjoy a supportive environment that prioritizes professional growth, mutual respect, inclusivity, and a strong sense of belonging.

Overall, the Community Concierge role at Core is ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic, service-oriented environments and desire to contribute meaningfully to the evolution of residential living experiences. Candidates will find ample opportunities to develop their skills while representing a company renowned for its innovative leadership in student housing and build-to-rent communities.
