Job Description
Core Spaces (Core) is a unique real estate company that goes beyond the conventional by focusing on people and relationships as much as properties. Established in 2010, Core is a vertically integrated real estate investment manager specializing primarily in the student housing and build-to-rent (BTR) sectors. The company's portfolio boasts over 59,000 student housing beds currently owned or managed, plus a robust development pipeline with over 50,930 beds, underscoring its dominant presence in the student housing market. Similarly, Core's BTR division is rapidly growing, with more than 3,000 homes under development, leasing, or in the pipeline across key high-growth metropolitan areas nationwide.
Core distinguishes itself not only through its impressive portfolio but also its culture rooted in six core values: PUSH (Invent Better Places to Live), GRIT (We Got This), LIFT (Help Each Other Win), SHINE (Bring Your Full Self), UPHOLD (Never Break Trust), and GROW (Always Get Better). These principles foster a collaborative, innovative environment dedicated to continuously enhancing the resident living experience through world-class amenities, progressive design, and hospitality-driven service.
The Community Concierge position at Core is pivotal to maintaining the seamless day-to-day operations of the leasing office on site. Acting as the frontline ambassador for residents and prospects alike, the role involves conducting property tours, managing resident retention initiatives, leading marketing efforts both internally and externally, and fulfilling critical overnight on-call duties. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional passionate about community engagement and delivering exceptional service. The Community Concierge supports various clerical and office functions, requiring adaptability and a commitment to uphold Core’s brand standards and policies. This part-time role typically requires a minimum of 15 hours per week, with shifts lasting at least 3 hours, often including evenings, weekends, and overtime to meet the needs of the community.
Candidates will find a supportive environment at Core, which offers competitive pay, generous paid time off, an employee assistance program, and retirement options such as 401(k) plans with matching and Roth account features. Core's culture of belonging encourages employees to bring their full selves to work, share their perspectives, and contribute actively to a shared mission of redefining how people live. This position not only offers valuable experience in real estate and community management but also an opportunity to be part of a company that values personal and professional growth, diversity, and inclusion.
