The role also demands proficiency with technology, maintaining program registration databases, and keeping up with software advancements that support community center functions. The ideal candidate will be a role model in ethical decision-making, leadership, respect for diversity, and exhibit a genuine commitment to the well-being and development of all participants. Support for the organization’s mission and maintaining an inclusive, welcoming environment for families and individuals of all ages and ethnicities is imperative.
Physical requirements for this role include good communication abilities, manual dexterity, and physical activity such as lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods. Occasional travel for training and community relations events is also required, with provided official transportation.
